It features two synthetic soccer pitches and a premier Australian Rules and cricket oval, complete with modern clubrooms, practice nets, and facilities. Designed for both local and large-scale events, SSRP hosts cultural festivals, music performances, outdoor expos, and vibrant markets. Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, it’s the perfect place for community gatherings and memorable experiences in a convenient, picturesque setting.
Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre
The Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre (SALC), located just across the road from Aston Hills, is set to become a year-round hub for health, fitness, and community connection. Currently under construction, this state-of-the-art facility will feature a 25m competition pool, a learn-to-swim pool, water play areas, a warm water therapy pool, gym and fitness rooms, and a crèche. With funding from both the South Australian and Commonwealth governments, SALC is designed to grow alongside the region’s booming population. Once complete in 2025, it will offer a vibrant space for all ages, right at the doorstep of Aston Hills.
Summit Leisure Precinct
The Summit Precinct in Mount Barker is a visionary 50-hectare hub designed to elevate recreation, leisure, and entertainment in South Australia’s fastest-growing region. Located at the corner of Bald Hills and Springs Roads, it combines state-of-the-art facilities like the Summit Sport and Recreation Park and the soon-to-be-completed Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre with natural attractions including the Laratinga walking trail and heritage barns.
