Spanning approximately 50 hectares at the corner of Bald Hills and Springs Roads, this precinct is already home to the Summit Sport and Recreation Park and will soon welcome the state-of-the-art Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre. The Summit Sport and Recreation Park (SSRP), located just across the road from Aston Hills, is a premier facility offering easy access to world-class amenities close to home. It features two synthetic soccer pitches and a premier Australian Rules and cricket oval, complete with modern clubrooms, practice nets, and facilities. Designed for both local and large-scale events, SSRP hosts cultural festivals, music performances, outdoor expos, and vibrant markets. Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, it’s the perfect place for community gatherings and memorable experiences in a convenient, picturesque setting.

The Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre (SALC), located just across the road from Aston Hills, is set to become a year-round hub for health, fitness, and community connection. Currently under construction, this state-of-the-art facility will feature a 25m competition pool, a learn-to-swim pool, water play areas, a warm water therapy pool, gym and fitness rooms, and a crèche. With funding from both the South Australian and Commonwealth governments, SALC is designed to grow alongside the region’s booming population. Once complete in 2025, it will offer a vibrant space for all ages, right at the doorstep of Aston Hills.

The Summit Precinct in Mount Barker is a visionary 50-hectare hub designed to elevate recreation, leisure, and entertainment in South Australia’s fastest-growing region.
